As more and more movies shut down various stages of production, there are still some work being done on upcoming DC films.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread around the world, it can feel as though the entertainment industry has completely shut down. From movies to television series, there seems to be nothing being worked on.
James Gunn, director of the upcoming The Suicide Squad, was asked what he’s doing as he continues to isolate as so many other people are. “Working on The Suicide Squad edit (from home),” said Gunn, “writing, meditating, exercising, talking with my gf, talking with others on my phone, playing with my cat & dog, making a Spotify playlist for you guys, @criterionchannl, & doing what I can to help others while locked up in my house!

The editing phase, luckily, is something that can be worked on remotely away from a centralized office. It is unclear what other post-production tasks can be handled this way, but editing will hopefully streamline the process of what needs to be done once the team is able to reassemble.
The Suicide Squad is currently scheduled to hit theaters on Aug. 6, 2021.
