Casting is still moving forward on Superman & Lois, and now we know how Lana Lang added “Cushing” to her name.
It was revealed earlier this week that Emmanuelle Chiriqui had joined Superman & Lois as Clark Kent’s teenage crush, Lana Lang. That news also revealed that the character’s name is now Lana Lang-Cushing and she is a loan officer at the Smallville bank. This, of course, leads to the question of who she married.
It has now been revealed that Erik Valdez (General Hospital) has been cast as Kyle Cushing, her husband.
Mr. Cushing is the fire chief of Smallville and considered a bit of a local hero. He reportedly doesn’t particularly care for large cities or people who come from them.
Superman & Lois will feature Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane. They will be joined by Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as their sons.
