During the Justice Con panel with Zack Snyder, at long last, the director officially debuted the black Superman costume.
While there had been re-colored photos floating around for years, Snyder finally showed what the version will look like in the film. He did stress, however, that this is not the absolute final color correction of the suit, so there may be slight variation once the film debuts.
Snyder shared the scene of Superman arriving to speak with Alfred that there has been much debate over for years.
As to the costume, Snyder pointed out how the cape is charcoal colored to break up the black. As to the suit itself, it is not just black-on-black.
No release date was announced as of yet, but Snyder confirmed that he is working on the film daily.
