It seems that no one can wait for DC FanDome as Matt Reeves has debuted the official The Batman logo ahead of the event.
Creators seem anxious for DC FanDome to arrive as Zack Snyder released a teaser for Justice League on Thursday, and this was then followed up by Matt Reeves debuting new artwork for The Batman.
Alongside the logo, Reeves also shared some new artwork of Rober Pattinson’s Batman made exclusively for DC FanDome.
Excited to share the very first look at our official #TheBatman logo, and some very cool additional #DCFanDome artwork by the amazing @jimlee — see more of #TheBatman at the #DCFanDome global event in the Hall of Heroes this Saturday, 8/22! #TheBatman #DCFanDome #ForTheFans pic.twitter.com/ApfngNbyor

One has to wonder if the official The Batman logo was released now due to the trademark reveal that happened on Wednesday. It’s one thing to see a logo in a bland trademark filing as opposed to seeing it context to how it will look across marketing materials.
Reeves is promising that additional materials for the film will be revealed at DC FanDome on Saturday, Aug. 22. With the film now looking to resume production in Sept., it’s beginning to feel as though things are once again coming together for the next outing of the Caped Crusader.
Currently, The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on Oct. 1, 2021.
