The Flash movie is on its way, and it looks as though the Multiverse is truly going to be in full effect.
While The Flash has had what feels like an endless road to the big screen, things seem to finally be coming together. From the rumors of Michael Keaton returning as Bruce Wayne, to the recent announcement of the return of Ben Affleck, not only is the film progressing but now we have some clue to the story.
While comments were made about the chance for multiple Batmen in a multiverse, no confirmations were offered. We did learn, however, that Ezra Miller’s version of the Scarlet Speedster will receive an all-new suit made for him by Bruce Wayne.
That does look to be the 1989 version of Batman in the background, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
One thing of note, it is now canon – according to the multiverse panel earlier in the day – that Ezra Miller’s Flash did indeed get his name from meeting Grant Gustin’s Flash in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The Flash is due to hit theaters on July 1, 2022.
