Zack Snyder is planning to shoot new scenes for his cut of Justice League in Oct. including several members of the cast.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder is planning to assemble members of the original cast for a week of additional filming in Oct. Amongst the cast members said to be participating will be Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher.

How the cast will be able to assemble with everything currently happening with the coronavirus remains to be seen. Cavill is currently filming The Witcher for Netflix, while Gadot has resumed work on her film, Red Notice. Getting cast members to travel right now is not an easy proposition.

An additional issue will be Fisher’s current public dispute with Warner Bros. over the onset conditions during Joss Whdeon’s shoot of Justice League. This new project is for HBO Max which is actually operated by Warner Bros. parent company, Warner Media which may play into whether or not Fisher can participate.

There is no word on exactly how much Snyder needs to shoot, nor what the scenes may be. With the film now being turned into four separate episodes for HBO Max, the need for some additional filming is not a giant surprise. What may be is how this is accomplished in the midst of a pandemic.
