Iron Studios announces Minico Dark Knight statues

Iron Studios is back with some new Batman statues, and this time they’re in the Minico line.

The 6-inch stylized figures will be cast in PVC for a lower price point.

First up, Batman.

Batman – The Dark Knight – Minico

With his tactical crime-fighting armor and wielding his batarang-shuriken, Batman keeps his eye on the lookout for his arch-enemy, ready for action, on a base in the streets of Gotham City. Thus, Iron Studios presents the statue “Batman – The Dark Knight – Minico” inspired by the acclaimed film “Batman: The Dark Knight” (2008), directed by Christopher Nolan and played by Christian Bale in it’s Toy Art version of the MiniCo line.

Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger in 1939, Bruce Wayne is a businessman, playboy and billionaire philanthropist who witnessed the murder of his parents as a child, and motivated by revenge, as an adult he started traveling the world trying to understand criminal minds. He trained all types of martial arts and combat techniques, seeking physical and intellectual perfection. He created a uniform based on something that frightened him as a child: bats. He wanted the bad guys to share the same fear. And so, he started to fight against crime.

The Joker – The Dark Knight – Minico

Ready to have fun promoting chaos, Joker brings his theatrical mask in his hands to hide between his cronies and his trademark playing card. Immortalized by the award-winning performance of the late actor Heath Ledger in the acclaimed film “Batman: The Dark Knight” (2008), directed by Christopher Nolan, Iron Studios presents its statue “The Joker – The Dark Knight” in its stylized Toy Art version of Minico line.

Joker is one of the greatest villains in comics, and Batman’s greatest archenemy. Called the “The Clown Prince of Crime”, it was created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson inspired by actor Conrad Veidt in the 1928 film “The Man Who Laughs” and a playing card. Psychotic and always smiling, he made his debut in Batman # 1 in 1940. His origins as well as his real name are a mystery. The Joker has a great sickly humor and uses deadly weapons inspired by comedies and black humor.
