It seems some things just don’t change as Billy Crudup is once again in talks to join the cast of The Flash.
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Billy Crudup is in talks to join the cast of The Flash. If that sounds familiar, it’s because he was previously associated with the film four years ago when Rick Famuyiwa was the director. At that time he was signed on to play Barry Allen’s father, a role he portrayed in 2017’s Justice League as well.
It’s not too surprising that after this long a new deal would need to be struck, and one has to imagine it would not be a difficult one to secure. Crudup’s profile is a bit higher now thanks to Apple TV’s The Morning Show, so it will be a matter of his schedule availability as well.
The Flash is currently scheduled for release on June 2, 2022.
