It has been a busy day in Liverpool as The Batman continued to shoot around the city.
The main filming for The Batman was taking place at St George’s Hall in Liverpool. Earlier in the day, some photos of a funeral scene were shown off on social media. Later in the day it continued to be the funeral scene, but new characters were surfacing starting with Oswald Cobblepot (Colin Farrell).
Other photos gave a new look at Selina Kyle (Zoe Kravitz) and Carmine Falcone (John Turturro)

Meanwhile, further filming was occurring over at the Anfield cemetery which we knew was coming thanks to a letter sent to residents and businesses in the area.

This does appear to connect to the cemetery filming that took place in Glasgow.
With Liverpool officially going into tier 3 restrictions on Wednesday that will see bars, pubs, and some businesses have to shutter, we will have to wait to see if it has any impact on the filming of The Batman.
The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
