Michael Keaton won’t confirm his role in The Flash

Will Michael Keaton appear in The Flash movie? It seems that the actor isn’t quite ready to confirm that information.

Keaton appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night, and Kimmel asked what is on everyone’s mind about whether or not he is indeed in The Flash. Sadly, the actor would not give a firm confirmation.

It should be pointed out that Keaton’s Batman suit appeared in concept art during DC FanDome, so we’re thinking it’s just a matter of an official announcement being made.

Keaton made several other jokes about his life as Batman from the fact that there will be actually 127 Batmen in The Flash, to he sometimes puts on the suit to just walk around the neighborhood. (To be clear, we don’t take either statement as fact.)

While Keaton wouldn’t confirm his involvement in The Flash, he did seemingly confirm he’s in talks to appear in the third Spider-Man film. This would be a reprisal of his role as Adrian Toomes / Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming (and potentially Morbius). This does make one wonder why he would be able to bring up that role, but not confirm his return as Batman.

The Flash is currently scheduled to be released on Nov. 4, 2022, so we have some time to wait before all of the casting announcements are made official. With Ben Affleck also reportedly appearing in the film as Batman, we’re willing to show some patience for all of the various rumors to be confirmed.
