The cast of Peacemaker is quickly filling up as three more actors have joined the cast.
Earlier on Wednesday, it was announced that Danielle Brooks (Orange is the New Black) has joined the cast of Peacemaker as Leota Adebayo. Later in the day, however, three more actors have now also joined the series.
Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day) is joining the cast as Auggie Smith. Jennifer Holland (Brightburn) will reprise her role from The Suicide Squad, Emilia Harcourt. The last addition is Chris Conrad (Perpetual Grace, LTD.) will be playing Adrian Chase, also known as Vigilante.
Vigilante is the biggest name addition to the project to be sure. The modern version of the character made his debut in New Teen Titans Annual #2 and was shown as a New York City District Attorney who became a vigilante after his family was murdered by a gang boss. There’s no indication as of yet if this will be his origin in the series.
John Cena will again be playing the peace-loving vigilante that will make his debut in The Suicide Squad movie. It was also previously announced that Steve Agee will also said to be returning as John Economos, the warden of Belle Reve Federal Penitentiary.
James Gunn wrote all eight episodes of the series and is set to direct multiple episodes. Gunn is currently in Canada doing his mandatory quarantine before beginning work on the series later in Nov.
No official release date for Peacemaker has been announced as of yet.
