David Ramsey isn’t quite done with the role of John Diggle or spending some time behind the camera it would seem.
With Arrow having completed its run, it could be easy to think we would never see Ramsey return as John Diggle, but it seems he has some time with the entire universe left. But it seems that he won’t just be playing Diggle.
According to an exclusive report from Deadline, Ramsey will be guest-starring in five episodes of the various VWVerse shows. He will appear as Diggle on Superman & Lois, Supergirl, The Flash, and Batwoman. His fifth appearance will be Legends of Tomorrow in a mystery role that is being kept under wraps for now.
The mystery role is setting off a lot of speculation, and the majority of it is focusing on him potentially showing up as a Green Lantern. This has been a fan desire for some time now, and if it could be pulled off on any of the various series it would be easiest to do so on Legends.
Beyond the acting aspect of his return, Ramsey will also be direct five episodes this season including installments of Superman & Lois and Supergirl.
“I remain in awe of the imprint these shows have had on television and I’ve been blessed for the better part of a decade to be a part of them both in front of and behind the camera,” said Ramsey. “To say I’m excited beyond belief to return to the Berlantiverse would be an understatement. I can’t wait to continue telling these stories.”
The CWVerse will return in January 2021.
