Zack Snyder had a surprise for fans this weekend as he announced that he is working to restore the IMAX ratio to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Snyder took to his Vero account on Saturday and shared that he isn’t only working on his Justice League series, but he’s also doing some touchups to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. “Was at Co3 yesterday with Stefan and we were working on the remastering of BvS restoring the IMAX aspect ratio and I think you’re gonna see a bit more,” said Snyder.
Snyder elaborated later in replies to the posting that it will probably debut before Zack Snyder’s Justice League does, but how it will be released is the question. It could be a home release or released on HBO Max, but he isn’t sure which it will be yet. He will also be making some color corrections to the print.
It looks as though 2021 is going to be a big year for Zack Snyder fans!
