The long-gestating Black Adam movie has added a new cast member as Quintessa Swindell has joined the cast.
According to an exclusive report from The Hollywood Reporter, Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets) has landed the role of Justice Society member, Cyclone.
Johnson later confirmed the news by congratulating Swindell on social media saying, “A pleasure to officially welcome, Quintessa Swindell to our BLACK ADAM cast. They’ll be taking on the role of CYCLONE. Can’t wait to work with them and we ready to rumble in the DC jungle.”
Swindell will be suiting up along with Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, and Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher. Sarah Shahi was the last person to join the cast and she will be playing a university professor turned freedom fighter who is leading the resistance in Kahndaq.
Black Adam is expected to begin filming in Spring 2021, but no specific date has been announced as of yet.
