David Ayer has shared a short clip of an unused Joker scene from his original cut of Suicide Squad. What else might he have in the vault.
It has become clear that there was a lot of David Ayer’s work on Suicide Squad that was chopped from the final version of the film. With both The Suicide Squad and Zack Snyder’s Justice League on the way, interest in what has coming to known as ‘The Ayer Cut’ is definitely on the rise for the 2016 film.
“You should be ashamed of yourself,” is all the clip says, but it’s known from released script pages this was part of a larger scene of the Joker addressing the entire Squad. The scene takes place in a very different third act of the film from what we saw in theaters.
