DC Universe Infinite - Launch Logo - 01

DC Universe Infinite will launch on Thursday, Jan. 21, in the U.S., and we’re finally getting more details of what to expect.

Formerly known as DC Universe, DC Universe Infinite is relaunching on Thursday as a comic book only service with some significant changes to what will be offered, how fast it will arrive, and how you consume it.

First and foremost, the collection of available titles will be expanding to over 25,000 issues and titles will also be arriving quicker than before. DC is promising there there will be quicker access to many titles  and that there will be five new backlist titles added every week. DC shared a lengthy list of titles to expect.

DC is also promising it has updated the comic reader to provide less lag time between pages while also enhancing the ability to build your own lists.

Users on iOS 14 will also find a neat new trick that will allow them to customize their home screen icon with their favorite DC characters.

“This is just the beginning of DC UNIVERSE INFINITE’s transformation,” explained Pam Lifford, President of Global Brands and Experiences at Warner Bros. “Our fans will have access to a rich collection of their favorite comic books and publishing while connecting with a community that loves the same DC characters and brands.”

DC Universe Infinite is available online at DCUniverseInfinite.com, iOS and Android devices for $7.99 a month or $74.99 a year ($6.25 a month). A rollout globally will be coming later in the year.
