Warner Bros. has announced that Savannah Welch will be taking on the role of Barbara Gordon in the third season of Titans.
The Titans Twitter account made the announcement on Tuesday, while Variety provided some more background.

Welch will be playing a version of Barbara Gordon that has become the Gotham City Police Commissioner and retired from her life as Batgirl. She will also be playing a paralyzed version of the character that was shot by the Joker. She will have her life complicated by the return of Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), her former love interest.
Welch is best-known for her her role on the History Channel series Six, but has also appeared in Boyhood and Tree of Life.
Titans season 3 will be the first since the series departed the old DC Universe service for HBO Max. There’s no word as of yet as to a possible debut date for the new episodes as there were multiple production delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
