The CW is going to kick-off the series premiere of Superman & Lois with a two-hour event.
It seems that The CW wants to make something special of Superman getting his own series for the first time in years. The CW announced the details on Wednesday that the series will kick-off with a 90-minute episode on Feb. 23.
The premiere will then be followed by a 30-minute special entitled Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope. This special will feature some previews of the upcoming season as well as special guests discussing the legacy of Superman. The guests have not yet been revealed.
The original schedule called for season 7 of The Flash to debut on the same night, but that will now be pushed back to the following Tuesday, March 2. Superman & Lois will air its second episode the same night, and this pairing will remain the lineup for the foreseeable future.
