Warner Bros. has announced four new installments of its DC Showcase animated shorts for release in 2021-2022.
The upcoming animated shorts were announced by Warner Bros. on Thursday and they will include Kamandi, The Losers, Blue Beetle, and Constantine. The first three will be included on upcoming DC Universe Movies, but the Constantine short will be lengthier than most installments and will be used as an anchor for a compilation set that will be released in 2022.
The first of the new shorts will be Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth! and will be attached to the Justice Society: World War II released in Spring 2021. It will be Directed by Matt Peters (Justice League Dark: Apokolips War) from a script written by Paul Giacoppo (Young Justice, Star Wars: Resistance).
No announcements to the voice casts or artwork for these DC Showcase installments as of yet.
