Zack Snyder’s Justice League release date has finally been announced. Mark your calendars for March 18, 2021.
To go along with the announcement, three new posters were released as well. The first shows a shattered Justice League logo which Snyder labeled as “Fallen.” The second shows a tattered Justice League flag atop rubble which he labeled as “Risen.” The third one shows a Justice League film canister with “Snyder” written on it and was entitled, “Reborn.”
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will release to HBO Max in the U.S. on March 18, but we are still awaiting information on when and how the film will be shown in other territories. Snyder has said on multiple occasions that those details are being worked out, but an official announcement has still not been released. (UPDATE: Following the publication of this post, Warner Bros. finally announced its international release plans and you can read about those here.)
The format of Zack Snyder’s Justice League has changed a few times since the official announcement that it was happening. While initially it looked to be edited as a movie, it later changed to four one-hour episodes, but has now gone back to being a four-hour film.
A theatrical release has also been discussed for the U.S., but no official plans have been announced as of yet.
For now, we can finally relax and set aside March 18 to watch. Which, we already checked our calendars, and it’s a Thursday in case anyone needs to ask for the day off work.
