After much concern, it appears that Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be available worldwide on March 18.

Zack Snyder took to social media on Friday to share an update on the global release plans for his film. “Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be available worldwide in all markets on the same day as in the U.S. on March 18 via on-demand, digital download, linear, or streaming,” said Snyder. He went on to add, “Platform availability will depend on each territory (with the exception of China, France, and Japan, where the release dates are TBD). Additional details for specific markets will be shared soon.”

It’s unclear why China, France, and Japan are currently undetermined, but at least we know they’re coming.

Discussions must have been intense this week ironing out the remaining plans as the overall plan was still unclear as of earlier in the week. “I do believe that even when the movie was green lit, the Snyder Cut version was green lit, I don’t know that there was a sense of urgency or an understanding of the worldwide demand that would be required of distribution and the studio and everyone to satisfy,” Snyder said at the time.

Even with this new announcement, it appears you will need to continue to do a bit of leg work on your own to figure out which platforms it will be released on in your region. But we now know that with an exception of just three countries, March 18 is the date.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will debut on March 18 on HBO Max in the U.S. and in various other territories on other HBO services.
