The Harley Quinn season 3 voice recording sessions have finally kicked off, bringing us that much closer to new episodes.
Things have been fairly quiet on the Harley Quinn season 3 front since the announcement of the renewal. We were warned that production would take some time, but, of course, we’re always anxious to hear some form of announcement.
Good news has finally arrived as executive producer Patrick Schumacker has announced that voice recording began on Monday. “Today we started recording [Harley Quinn] season 3,” said Schumacker. “[Diedrich Bader] was back as Batman! Jim Rash was back as Riddler! and [Chris Meloni] was back as Commissioner Gordon! We’re back!!!”
Huge thanks to @hbomax for picking us up. They have been phenomenal partners on this.

He also went on to thank HBO Max for renewing the series.
Harley Quinn got its start with the first two seasons being original programming for the now-defunct DC Universe service. With the transformation of that service into the comics-only DC Universe Infinite, the completed episodes of Harley Quinn moved over to the HBO Max service.
Series creator and executive producer Justin Halpern has teased a bit of what we can expect from season 3 saying, “We spent two years digging into Harley, and Ivy was her own character, but her stories were told mostly in relation to Harley. So, I think in this third season, it’d be interesting to flip that, and dig deeper into Ivy and her life, and tell some stories through her point of view. So, we’re excited to be able to do that because it feels completely new—somewhere to go that we haven’t gone, that isn’t going to make the audience feel like, “We saw two seasons of that. What the f**k is this?”.”
No timeline has been announced as of yet for the Harley Quinn season 3 premiere.
