In what seemed like an inevitable occurrence, San Diego Comic-Con has opted to remain a virtual event for 2021.
The convention announced the news on Monday and made it clear that there will be no in-personevent in 2021. It did state the event is scheduled to return to the San Diego Convention Center for 2022.
If you purchased tickets for San Diego Comic-Con 2020 – which were in turn rolled over to 2021 – you will have the option to transfer those to 2022 or request a refund. If you wish to receive a refund you will need to submit a request.
Comic-Con@Home will be the virtual event again this year and will take place July 23 to 25 and will be a free event open to all. There will also be an in-person event in November to be held at the San Diego Convention Center with more details to be announced at a later date.
