Zack Snyder’s Justice League accidentally leaks on HBO Max

Zack Snyders Justice League - Release Poster - Featured - 03

Subscribers of HBO Max were in for a surprise Monday afternoon as they came across an accidental release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max.

Multiple reports surfaced on social media on Monday afternoon that HBO Max subscribers attempting to watch Tom & Jerry were greeted with up to an hour of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Users were told they were watching Tom & Jerry at all points during that time if they paused the film.

Users posted screenshots of their television screens to social media to verify the event. The only variation in reports seem to be how much of the film played before WarnerMedia removed the file. Some reports say as much as two hours of the film screened before it was stopped.

The film is currently scheduled to be released on March 18 on HBO Max, but some fans have begun calling for it to be released early as so much of the film has now been viewed and leaks are showing up around various social media platforms. An early launch seems unlikely at this juncture with so much promotion happening, but it would not be without its precedents from other similar incidents.

For now, we recommend extreme caution for those looking to void spoilers. Images are showing up in unexpected places online without much warning.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will debut on March 18 on HBO Max in the U.S. and in various other territories on other HBO services.
