Black Adam sets a July 29, 2022 release date

With just days left until Black Adam begins production, Dwayne Johnson has announced a new release date.

Johnson took to his Instagram on Sunday to tease a major announcement was coming. A few hours later we had a new Black Adam release date set of July 29, 2022.

The release date had been put in question as the film was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic. With the main cast now complete, and sets being built, it looks as though things are finally ready to go.

Johnson’s Black Adam will be joined by Pierce Brosnan as Doctor FateAldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as CycloneMarwan Kenzari as the film’s villain, and  Sarah Shahi will be playing a university professor turned freedom fighter who is leading the resistance in Kahndaq.

The Black Adam release date is set for July 29, 2022.
