And that’s it for the devil as Lucifer has completed filming on its sixth and final season.
Monday was the final day of filming on Lucifer. The series completed shooting on season 6 as Netflix also announced the premiere date for season 5B to be May 28. The fifth season was split in two due to filming delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
When Netflix picked up Lucifer for a fourth season after Fox canceled the series, it didn’t take long to announce season 5. It was also announced that season 5 would be the final season. But then it was decided to add more episodes to it, and then, apparently, even more talk began happening.
Then, in June 2020, it was announced that the series would come back for a sixth and “FINAL final season.” Of course, this is the third “final” season at this point, but we’re putting a bit more weight on it this time.
Lucifer season 5 debuted on Aug. 21, 2020, and 5B is arriving on May 28, 2021. We think we’ve got a healthy wait for season 6.
