Black Adam is finally in production after years of delay, but it appears that casting is still underway as Uli Latukefu has joined the cast.
According to Deadline Uli Latukefu has joined the cast of Black Adam in an unknown role. This will be Latukefu’s second time working on a project involving Johnson as he has been playing the college football era of the former wrestler on Young Rock. Johnson handpicked him for that role, so it stands to reason that he was also involved in bringing him into the film.
This isn’t the only mystery roll that has appeared as of late as just over two weeks ago Mo Amer joined the film in an unknown role. Witht he Justice Society members filled out, who these people could be playing is wide open for guessing.
Johnson’s Black Adam will be joined by Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. Marwan Kenzari as the film’s villain, and Sarah Shahi will be playing a university professor turned freedom fighter who is leading the resistance in Kahndaq.
The Black Adam release date is set for July 29, 2022.
