The first Sweet Tooth trailer has arrived, giving us our first look at the new Netflix series based on the DC comic.

Announced in May 2020, Netflix wasted no time it seems it putting together the Sweet Tooth series. Less than a year later the Sweet Tooth trailer has arrived and the series will premiere in June.

Based on the beloved DC comic, and Executive Produced by Susan Downey & Robert Downey Jr., Sweet Tooth is a post-apocalyptic fairytale about a hybrid deer-boy and a wandering loner who embark on an extraordinary adventure. All episodes of Sweet Tooth premiere on June 4, 2021, only on Netflix.

On a perilous adventure across a post-apocalyptic world, a lovable boy who’s half-human and half-deer searches for a new beginning with a gruff protector.

The series stars Christian Convery (Beautiful Boy), Nonso Anozie (Game of Thrones), Adeel Akhtar (The Big Sick), and Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth). James Brolin (Life in Pieces) will serve as the narrator of the series.

Team Downey’s Amanda Burrell, Linda Moran, Robert Downey Jr., and Susan Downey serve as executive producers, while Evan Moore will produce.

This is Team Downey’s second attempt at the series with the production company having shot a pilot for Hulu a few years ago. That version did not move forward.

Sweet Tooth will debut on Netflix on June 4, 2021.
