A newly leaked The Batman video provides some insight into Matt Reeves’ and Zoe Kravitz’s take on Selina Kyle.
It is unclear where this newly leaked video comes from, but it feels like an extra for an eventual home video release. It does appear to be completely authentic, however, with new footage of Kravitz in costume as Selina Kyle, as well as new interviews discussing the character.
“Selina can take care of herself,” says Kravitz. “She really wants to fight for those that don’t have someone else to fight for them. I think that is where Batman and she really connect.”
After numerous delays due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Batman wrapped principal photography on March 13. We expect more promotion to kick off in the fall of 2021, and think we should see a second trailer at the second DC FanDome.
The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
