Production is moving along on the set of the long-gestating Black Adam movie, and it appears Dwayne Johnson can’t wait to start sharing some secrets from the set with everyone.
Johnson has been attached to play Black Adam for years, and after many stalled starts, the film is finally in production. Ever since production began, one of the most anticipated reveals has been what the costume will look like. Johnson finally shared the tiniest of teases of what we can expect from the costume.

While this image is the very definition of a tease, you still get some idea that this isn’t a pristine costume. From the ragged nature of the bottom hem, it looks as though Black Adam has seen some rough times. Considering his origin story, this seems very fitting.
As well as teasing the costume, Johnson shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the film. It looks as though there will be quite a bit of destruction, but we wouldn’t expect any less.

Black Adam is more than a year away from release, but with the excitement Johnson has shown for this project over the years, we’re sure he’s going to be sharing more with the public in the not too distant future.
The Black Adam release date is set for July 29, 2022.
