A Stargirl season 2 trailer has finally arrived giving us some first looks at what Courtney and the newly formed JSA will be facing this time around.

Stargirl season 1 saw an end to the Injustice Society, and it looks as though Courtney and her friends can finally rest. But as we all know, there is no rest for superheroes.

There are still villains around, and it looks as though Jade – Alan Scott’s daughter – may be lending a hand to fight off any new threats that arise. We also get our first very brief look at Thunderbolt who will be voiced by Jim Gaffigan.

Season 1 of Stargirl began life on DC Universe before also being broadcast on The CW. If you missed it, the first season is currently available on HBO Max in the U.S.

Stargirl season 2 will debut on The CW on Aug. 10.
