Serena Williams isn’t just jumping from the tennis court to the 80s, but she’s dressing up as Wonder Woman as well.
DirecTV has released a new ad to show off the new DirecTV Stream feature, and through the magic of flipping channels too quickly, Serena Williams gets sucked into Wonder Woman 1984 and has to take on tennis ball shooting robots.
This, of course, is just the latest in a long line of DC properties mixing into other commercials. Turkish Airlines went deep on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg starring in a pair of commercials. And there was the time the Batmobile stopped at a Walmart to pick up groceries.
All we want to know is who the robots were working for.
