Andy Muschietti has shared a new image from the upcoming The Flash movie that may hint at the arrival of a new character.
On Sunday, Muschietti shared a new image on his Instagram account of the Flash symbol on top of a Batman logo.
Muschietti has previously teased of Michael Keaton’s Batman suit Ezra Miller’s new Flash suit, and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl costume. While all of those were clear what they were about, this one is a bit more puzzling.
There is a possibility it could be a tease of Red Death from the Dark Knights: Metal storyline. although it is not remotely comic accurate. Or there is a chance it’s just the director’s way of acknowledging the fact that Batman Day was this weekend. For now we’re leaning far more towards it just being an amusing promotional image. While Flash will be traversing the multiverse, it seems unlikely we’ll be dealing with the Red Death in this movie.
The Flash is set to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.
