The Batman is in full post-production, and it seems that both Matt Reeves and Michael Giacchino are hard at work on the project.
In the evening of Batman Day on Saturday, both Reeves and Giacchino shared some new tastes of the 2022 film, The Batman. While we’re still six months out from release, there is still a lot to be done.
Reeves shared a photo of himself working on editing the film. The image up on the screen was one we have not seen yet that shows Batman (Robert Pattinson) preparing to fire his grapnel gun.
Wow, I have been away so long…! Just popping my head out of the editing room for a moment to say #HappyBatmanDay ! Can’t wait to share a lot more with you all four weeks from today at #DCFanDome ! (Sorry about the messy desk #LongHours) #TheBatman @TheBatman pic.twitter.com/ye0u1xQo65

Giacchino shared a video of himself conducting a portion of his score for The Batman. This is the first true taste we’ve had of his score for the film and it certainly sounds like it will have an epic quality to it.
Happy #BatmanDay everyone!! We have been hard at work and can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to!! @mattreevesLA #DCFanDome #TheBatman @TheBatman pic.twitter.com/BGyiOSxdaa

With these materials coming out now, we can only imagine what we’ll be treated to at DC FanDome in October.
Joining Pattinson in The Batman will be Paul Dano (The Riddler), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Colin Farrell (The Penguin), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Jeffrey Wright (James Gordon), Andy Serkis (Alfred Pennyworth), and more.
The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
