DC FanDome is rapidly approaching, and it looks as though there may be a few surprises related to The Batman.

Robert Pattinson attended the red carpet opening of The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Wednesday night, and Variety reporter Angelique Jackson couldn’t resist asking about The Batman. Speaking specifically to the upcoming DC FanDome, she inquired if there may be some new material included. “Me and Zoë [Kravitz] did some stuff. It’s a fun little thing,” said Pattinson. “There are lots of little surprises for it.”

Pattison also confirmed he has seen portions of The Batman and said, “I’ve seen some of the movie now and it’s kind of really cool. It’s really cool.”

DC FanDome 2020 was where the first The Batman trailer was released, so we imagine there will be more material coming our way at the sophomore event. Considering only 25% of the film had been shot when the first trailer was assembled, we can’t wait to see what else new footage would have in store for us.

Joining Pattinson in The Batman will be Paul Dano (The Riddler), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Colin Farrell (The Penguin), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Jeffrey Wright (James Gordon), Andy Serkis (Alred Pennyworth), and more.

The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022. DC FanDome 2022 will take place on Oct. 16.
