The Suicide Squad’s lethal Bloodsport in a new statue from Iron Studios!

With a mission to destroy a laboratory and a prison that holds political prisoners and secret experiments, he finds himself atop a base that resembles the forest terrain of Corto Maltese. He infiltrates himself as the involuntary leader of the Task Force group’s second strike team, better known as The Suicide Squad. Wearing a tactical suit specially designed to protect him, which hides his mountable arsenal, with various utility tools, when necessary, he can still wear a folding helmet, inspired by a xenomorph alien, which intimidates his opponents and hides his identity. Part of the collection of statues derived from the movie The Suicide Squad, Iron Studios presents the deadly “Bloodsport – The Suicide Squad – BDS Art Scale 1/10”, a highly intelligent mercenary with skills in strategy and leadership that turns any object into a deadly weapon.

Imprisoned for putting Superman in the ICU with a Kryptonite bullet, Robert DuBois, known by the code name Bloodsport, was recruited by Amanda Waller to command one of the two teams of the Suicide Squad. He joined the team for another obscure mission of the group of villains who work for the government in exchange for reducing their sentences. Initially refusing the mission, he ended up accepting it after Waller blackmailed him, threatening to imprison his daughter Tyla for a misdemeanor committed by the teenager. As a military veteran and assassin, DuBois has an impeccable aim and is an expert combatant, but suffers from Musophobia (intense fear of rats) for being locked, by his father, in a box with hungry rodents as a child. Played by Idris Elba, Bloodsport was created by the legendary writer and artist John Byrne in 1987 as Superman’s opponent in the comics.

The statue, which contains an extra head with a helmet and a pair of extra arms with weapons, is added to the diorama line that will also feature other members of the group, such as Ratcatcher II, Harley Quinn, King Shark, Peacemaker, and Polka-Dot Man. Iron Studios presents the statue of the young Ratcatcher from the Suicide Squad!

Wearing a rustic hooded leather costume and a gas mask, she raises her technological command staff that gives her power and control over the little creatures, the most humble and despised of all, just as her father taught her. The gas mask serves both to hide her identity and protect her from the odors of the sewer system, where she recruits her army of rats. Having two of her little allies at her feet, Iron Studios presents the “Ratcatcher II – The Suicide Squad – BDS Art Scale 1/10” statue on a base resembling a forest terrain in the South American island nation of Corto Maltese. She’s on a mission to destroy a prison and laboratory known as Jotunheim.

Cleo Cazo is the daughter of the original villain Ratcatcher. Raised with love and affection, she has always lived on the margins of society on the streets of Portugal. She learned from an early age how to use the devices created by her father to control rats, making the animals that inhabit the sewers her tool to commit robberies and protect her. As an adult, she moved to the US, where she followed in her father’s footsteps in a criminal life as “Ratcatcher 2”, named after her father. Along with a specific mouse, whom she named Sebastian and adopted as a pet, Cleo was captured and sent to Belle Reve Prison. During her time in prison, she was recruited by Amanda Waller into the Task Force X group nicknamed The Suicide Squad. This group brings together convicted villains who work for the government in exchange for reduced sentences.

The iconic Polka-Dot Man gets a statue by Iron Studios!

Along with the second strike team of the Task Force X group, better known as The Suicide Squad is the peculiar figure wearing a white uniform with colored spheres. He heads for a mission atop a base that resembles the forest terrain of Corto Maltese, a fictional South American island nation. Despite being seen as a joke by his teammates, this shy and sad character possesses destructive and lethal power. Iron Studios adds to its line derived from the movie The Suicide Squad the statue of the curious and iconic “Polka-Dot Man – The Suicide Squad – BDS Art Scale 1/10”.

Abner Krill was infected with an interdimensional virus because his own mother, a scientist at STAR Labs and obsessed with superheroes, performed experiments on him. As a result of so many experiments, he developed a meta-human condition, which caused him to create multicolored spheres shaped like glowing pustules on his body. He needs to expel the spheres in order not to be consumed by them. Codenamed Polka-Dot Man, he launches these incendiary balls like projectiles with the aid of special gauntlets, and the spheres are capable of disintegrating anything they come into contact with. As a result, Abner suffered severe psychological trauma from his mother’s experiences with him and his siblings. Depressed and clumsy and suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), which causes him to see his mother’s face in everyone around him.

An obscure character from the Batman gallery of villains in the comics, Polka-Dot Man was created in 1962 by Bill Finger and Sheldon Moldoff and is one of the featured characters in The Suicide Squad, played by David Dastmalchian. Revealed firsthand on the Inside Iron Studios Day and already available for Pre-Order, the statue is added to the Iron Studios’ line of statues derived from this big-screen success.
