It’s official: Batgirl has started production at long last.
Bilall Fallah took to his Instagram account on Tuesday to share an image of the clapper from the first day of full production on Batgirl.
We’re definitely taking a note of “Officer Barbara Gordon” in the foreground.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will direct the film and are currently in Scotland on the production. Christina Hodson (Bumblebee, Birds of Prey) wrote the film’s script. Leslie Grace will be playing Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, J.K. Simmons will be playing Commissioner Gordon, and Brendan Fraser has been cast as the villain.
No release date has been announced for Batgirl as of yet.
