Wonder Woman is heading to your gaming library from Monolith Productions.
Announced during The Game Awards on Thursday night, a brief teaser was shown for the game. It didn’t feature any in-game footage, but it at least gave us a slight tease to the story.
It seems that Themyscira faces a new threat, and that Queen Hippolyta has recalled her daughter to help defend their home. The teaser goes on to suggest that she will also need to “unite old enemies,” so it feels safe to assume we’ll see some other familiar faces. The studio also shared that it will be an open-world action game that will see you “progress from a heroic fighter into a proven leader.”
Monolith Studios is best known for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor and the second title in the series, Shadow of War.
No information has been provided as to a release date for Wonder Woman or which platforms it will be available on. The company did, however, state, that the game will run on the Nemesis System.
