It looks as though the rumors that Michael Keaton may hang around after The Flash are true as the Batman actor has now been added to the cast of Batgirl.
Warner Bros. has released new synopses and cast lists for the majority of its 2022 films, including Batgirl. The synopsis for the film is brief and really reveals nothing.
The first-ever live-action feature film to star the popular DC Super Hero, Batgirl.
What is interesting, however, is the cast list.
Leslie Grace, J.K. Simmons, Brendan Fraser, Jacob Scipio, and Michael Keaton
Everyone on that list was known other than Michael Keaton. There had been rumors for some time now that Keaton would take on a mentor-style role in DC films following the events of the upcoming The Flash film. This is the first firm information we have received that it indeed may be the case.
Hopefully, the company will release more information in the near future, but for now it appears Keaton will be hanging around for a bit.
Batgirl is currently in production in Scotland, and no release date has been announced as of yet.
