HBO Max releases a “Meet the team” clip from Peacemaker

HBO Max has released a “meet the team” clip from the upcoming Peacemaker series that gives us some insight into the plot as well.

We’ve had a few Peacemaker trailers, and another scene released some time ago, but now we’re getting a more formal introduction to his team. Before you press play, be cautious of some not safe for work language.

Something tells us Peacemaker isn’t being given the full story, but that doesn’t exactly come as a surprise. Task Force X and A.R.G.U.S. aren’t exactly known for being forthcoming with information.

John Cena will reprise his role from the film in the series. Other actors include Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks was later added, and then two more got the nod including Jennifer Holland and Robert Patrick. Another round of cast additions were announced in Dec. 2020 including Chukwudi Iwuji (When They See Us) as a series regular, while Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale), Annie Chang (Shades of Blue), and Christopher Heyerdahl (Togo) were added as recurring guest stars. In May 2021 it was announced that Freddie Stroma would replace Chris Conrad in the role of Vigilante. Elizabeth Faith Ludlow and Rizwan Manji were added in early February, and were joined by Nhut Le as Judomaster later in the month. The last round of announced additions included Alison Araya and Lenny Jacobson as a married couple named Amber and Evan and will appear on a recurring basis.

Peacemaker will debut on HBO Max on Jan. 13 with three episodes.
