The first official photo of Leslie Grace in the Batgirl costume has been released.
As filming continues on the Batgirl film in Glasgow, Scotland, the production has released the first official look at the heroes costume. Leslie Grace added the quote to her post:
“I use their expectations against them. That will be their weakness. Not mine. Let them all underestimate me…
And when their guard is down, and their pride is rising, let me kick their butts.”

It’s clear the movie is taking a lot on inspiration from the Burnside costume, but no word as of yet if this will be the only costume we see in the movie.
With this official look having been released, we suspect we will be seeing numerous set photos of her shortly in this costume. It’s always a better idea to give an official look first before a bunch of blurry set photos ruin the reveal.
Batgirl is currently filming on location in Glasgow, Scotland with Leslie Grace starring in the lead role. She will be joined by J.K. Simmons as Jim Gordon, Brendan Fraser as Firefly, and Michael Keaton as Batman. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing from a script by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee, Birds of Prey).
No word as of yet as to the Batgirl release date, but it will premiere on HBO Max.
