If you have seen the Peacemaker opening credits, you can now play it on a constant loop for the rest of the weekend.
In this modern age of streaming, we’re all used to pounding that “Skip Intro” button, but I have to say I haven’t hit once since I first experienced these credits. I haven’t read one of the names, but they certainly have kept my attention.
Peacemaker debuted on Jan. 13 on HBO Max in the U.S. with the first three episodes. The first season is scheduled to run for eight episodes.
John Cena reprises his role from the film in the series. Other actors include Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks was later added, and then two more got the nod including Jennifer Holland and Robert Patrick. Another round of cast additions were announced in Dec. 2020 including Chukwudi Iwuji (When They See Us) as a series regular, while Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale), Annie Chang (Shades of Blue), and Christopher Heyerdahl (Togo) were added as recurring guest stars. In May 2021 it was announced that Freddie Stroma would replace Chris Conrad in the role of Vigilante. Elizabeth Faith Ludlow and Rizwan Manji were added in early February, and were joined by Nhut Le as Judomaster later in the month. The last round of announced additions included Alison Araya and Lenny Jacobson as a married couple named Amber and Evan and will appear on a recurring basis.
Peacemaker has released three episodes so far, and additional episodes will be released weekly.
