Warner Bros. has released an ad of the Batman funeral scene from the upcoming movie.
Over the weekend, users on YouTube started encountering an advertisement for The Batman of the funeral scene that has been featured extensively in the trailers. It provides a bit more context for the car driving into the church and Bruce Wayne’s (Robert Pattinson) involvement in the scene.
UPDATE: Matt Reeves has now released the scene in 4K.
Warner Bros. has yet to release this as a stand-alone video, but we’re sure it will do so in short order.
With just under six weeks to go until the release of the film, expect to be seeing a large increase in the material being released. If you want to go into the movie spoiler-free, it’s going to become a rough time for you.
Joining Pattinson in The Batman will be Paul Dano (The Riddler), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Colin Farrell (The Penguin), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Jeffrey Wright (James Gordon), Andy Serkis (Alfred Pennyworth), and more. Matt Reeves serves as both writer and director.
The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022, and will arrive on HBO Max on April 19, 2022.
