With the release of The Batman coming up, we’re going to try something a little bit different, and we’re going to be bringing news directly to your texts!
Batman News has teamed up with Subtext to bring some additional fun to the biggest event of the year for Batman fans. By filling out the form below, or by texting BATMAN to 1-660-371-5961, you’ll be subscribed to a special series of texts about the release of The Batman. We’ll be sending you updates on the news of the day, lins to new TV spots, and more!
This service is also a two-way street as you will be able to text us as well once you’re subscribed. We can’t promise we’ll be able to reply to every text, but we’ll certainly try to answer as many as we can.
For some FAQs:
- Will you sell my information? – NO! We will not sell, trade, or give away your phone number. You have the option to enter your name so we know to address you if you text us, but even that is optional. Your phone number will not be sold, traded, or given away by Fun Jug Media LLC or Subtext.
- How much does it cost? – There is no fee for this service other than your normal texting cost. If you have unlimited texting in your plan it is covered by this. If you buy bundles of texts this will count towards your bundle.
- Will you be spamming my texts? – Our plan is for one text a day unless something huge news-wise happens. (not counting the one additional “Welcome” message) Otherwise, you will receive one text a day with some links to stories we did about The Batman and maybe some minor tidbits that didn’t make it to being a full post. And if there is a day with no news, then there will be no text. This service is just for a bit of fun as we all enjoy a new Batman film.
- How long will this last? – You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Otherwise, we plan to end the service on Friday, March 18, 2022. You will receive no additional texts after that date. Should we ever do this type of project again it will be with a new number and you will have to opt-in once again.
- Is this associated with Warner Bros. in any official capacity? – It is not associated with Warner Bros. This is strictly a service of Batman News.
The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022, and will arrive on HBO Max on April 19, 2022. General release tickets are on sale now.
