For those of you waiting for the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game, you’re sadly going to have to wait a bit longer.
Rocksteady director Sefton Hill made the announcement via Twitter saying, “We’ve made the difficult decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to Spring 2023. I know a delay is frustrating but that time is going into making the best game we can. I look forward to bringing the chaos to Metropolis together. Thanks for your patience.”
The game is set in the Arkham game universe and will take place some time after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight.
The game was first announced in Aug. 2020, and the first trailer debuted during DC FanDome on Aug. 22, 2020. The original release date had been set for April 2022, but then moved to a more ambigous date in the year.
No word as of yet on the exact new release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League other than Spring 2023.
