In its fifth week of release, The Batman has surpassed $700 million at the global box office.
The Batman came in third this weekend in the U.S. with $10.8 million to bring its domestic total to $349 million. In the foreign markets, it has now taken in $361.5 million for a global total of $710.5 million. This currently places it 58th highest-grossing film domestically, and 123rd on the all-time global box office leaderboard.
From the international markets, the top five locations have been the U.K. with $42.92 million, Mexico at $26.07 million, Australia with $21.43 million, France has clocked in with $19.3 million, and China with $19.11 million.
An $800 million global total still looks to be a possibility, but with Sonic 2 next weekend, and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore the week after that, competition will be much higher than it has been up to now.
