Legends of Tomorrow has been canceled at The CW after seven seasons.
The Time Idiots are closing up shop as The CW has decided to not order an eighth season of the series. Co-showrunner Keto Shimizu announced the news on Twitter: “Well, folks. It’s been an incredible run. However, the CW has let us know that there will be no Season 8 of Legends of Tomorrow. We are heartbroken, but also immensely grateful for the amazing work our cast, crew, and writers have contributed to the little show that could.”
This is the second Arrowverse series to be canceled on Friday following the announcement of Batwoman being canceled.
After a lukewarm reception to the first season, the series underwent a major change and became much more of a comedy series.
The CW has already renewed The Flash and Superman & Lois. Still undecided are Stargirl and Naomi.
