Warner Bros. Animation is reportedly working with Leslie Jones on a new adult animated series based around Plastic Woman.

According to a report from Variety, Leslie Jones is working with Warner Bros. Animation on a series based on Plastic Woman, a gender-swapped version of Plastic Man. The property was in the works as a motion picture before this, and no word on whether or not that project is now shelved.

Leslie Jones shot to recognition during her tenure on Saturday Night Live. She went on to co-star in the 2016 Ghostbusters film, and currently serves as the host of Supermarket Sweep as well as being a standup.

The animated series is in the earliest stages of development and does not currently have writers, a director, or a network attached to it.

HBO Max is currently home to the DC adult animation series Harley Quinn and it will soon be joined by the Kite Man-led spinoff, Noonan’s. While that is the most logical outlet for any new series such as this, we’ll just have to wait and see should the series move forward.
