The Riddler puts Batman through “One Bad Day” in a first look at the upcoming one-shot comic

Back in May, DC announced their upcoming Batman – One Bad Day series. Each issue will be a 64-page OGN featuring a different villain from a different creative team. This August, Eisner-winning duo of writer Tom King and artist Mitch Gerads will be teaming up once again for Batman – One Bad Day: The Riddler #1. The two have worked together before on titles such as The Sheriff of BabylonMister MiracleStrange Adventures, and parts of his Batman run.

The Riddler has long been one of Batman’s most cunning adversaries, but King’s upcoming comic will reveal a much darker Edward Nygma. Far from The Riddler’s usual methods, he’s decided to start killing people at random. Batman must get to the bottom of what’s behind this sudden shift in motivation before it’s too late.
