It seems that Leslie Grace may yet get her turn at playing Batgirl in some way.
Following the surprise announcement that Batgirl was canceled, people have wondered what might happen with Leslie Grace. The actor issued a statement not long after the news hit, about how thankful she was for the experience, but there has been no indication of what she may do next.
Some rumors have indicated that Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a way to work with her again, as well as the directors, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. According to a new report from Variety, those options may indeed include another go at Batgirl.
While the article states she may appear in a future DC film in the role, it does not say that it would be a Batgirl-specific film.
As it stands right now, we’re not sure in what film she could appear, but with a 10 year plan in the works, we’re hoping we’ll hear more sooner rather than later.
